# How can I check if a connected Stripe Express account with Express dashboard access is claimed?

After Stripe sends the pre-filing confirmation email to accounts with Express Dashboard access, the account holder must click the link in the email to claim their connected account.
## Check claim status
In your Stripe Dashboard, locate the account and find the **Account claim status** property. It shows one of three statuses:
- **Claimed:** The account has claimed access.
- **Not claimed:** The account has not claimed access.
- **Not claimed, no attempts left:**  The account has attempted to claim access four times and has no attempts left.
## Reset claim attempts
You can reset claim attempts up to three times from your Dashboard: locate the account and use the three-dot menu to find the reset option.
