Transferring a Stripe account for a business acquired by a legal entity in a different country
If your business was acquired by an entity in a country different from the country in which your Stripe account is registered, you will need to:
Transfer ownership to the new owner.
The new owner should then create a new Stripe account with the new business country.
The new owner can then reach out to Stripe Support to request a data transfer from the old account to the new account.
Additional Information
It is not possible to change the country designated for an existing Stripe account.
