For Stripe account holders in Malaysia, effective September 1, 2022, Stripe Payments Malaysia Sdn Bhd no longer charges service tax on processing fees to Malaysian account holders.

Service tax will continue to apply to Stripe fees for non processing–related products and services (such as Connect and Radar) at the prevailing rate. The service tax charge is applied in addition to Stripe’s product and service fees.

SST will not apply to Stripe fees for Terminal hardware products.

You will be provided with a monthly tax invoice for the service tax charged on your Stripe fees. It will be delivered to your email with the subject “A new tax invoice is now available to view”.
