# Support case visibility for accounts connected to third-party platforms

If your Stripe account is connected to a single third-party platform, support cases you create with Stripe may be viewable to that platform. This provides you with quicker, more effective support by providing more context to the platform on the issues you’re facing and how Stripe is working with you to resolve them.
### How do I opt out of sharing my support cases with my platform?
To opt out of sharing your support cases with the platform, follow these steps:
1. Navigate to the [Preferences](https://dashboard.stripe.com/support?tab=preferences) tab in the Support center page in the Dashboard.
1. Turn off the setting for sharing support cases with your platform.

If your Stripe account has ever been connected to more than one platform, your support cases aren't shared, and this setting doesn't appear.
