Our Connect product is a powerful API and set of tools used to route payments between a business, customers, and recipients who need to get paid. It powers payments for business models like marketplaces and software platforms.

There are certain restrictions on Connect for Stripe India that you should be aware of:

• Depending on your preferred integration, we may require you to engage with our sales team. 
• We do not support on behalf of capability for destination charges for all integrations
• Separate charges and transfers charge type, or standalone transfers via the dashboard or API to connected accounts, are currently not supported
• Manual payouts to connected accounts is supported for limited use-cases. Please reach out to our support team if you are interested in this feature
• Top-ups to your platform account are only supported for negative balances
• Cross border transactions are supported only for:
  • Connected accounts with direct charges and without application fee, who have access to the Stripe Dashboard, and where loss liability and fee collection are managed by Stripe
  • US-based platforms with connected accounts on the Recipient Terms of Service with Separate Charges and Transfers without on_behalf_of or Top-up and Transfers. Destination charges and destination charges with on_behalf_of are not supported
• Due to India data local storage requirements, we do not support updating country to or from India after account creation. You will need to create a new connected account and select the revised country upon account creation
• We have restrictions on cross-border transactions that you should be aware of as listed in the table below (These restrictions don't apply to Indian accounts with the recipient service agreement):

Domestic charges (INR) and export (international) charges (non-INR) are supported with all plug-ins including Shopify, Chargebee, Magento, and WooCommerce.
