Our Connect product is a powerful API and set of tools used to route payments between a business, customers, and recipients who need to get paid. It powers payments for business models like marketplaces and software platforms.
There are certain restrictions on Connect for Stripe India that you should be aware of:
We only support Standard and Custom Connect (Express is not supported yet)
We do not support separate charges and transfers
We do not support manual payouts to connected accounts
We do not support top-ups to your platform account
We do not support custom connect users processing international transactions
We do not support updating country to or from India after account creation. You will need to create a new connected account and select the revised country upon account creation.
We have restrictions on cross-border transactions that you should be aware of as listed in the table below (These restrictions don't apply to Indian accounts with the recipient service agreement):

Domestic charges (INR) and export (international) charges (non-INR) are supported with all plug-ins including Shopify, Chargebee, Magento, and WooCommerce.
