# Partially refund a customer

You can refund [non-disputed payments](https://stripe.com/docs/disputes#refunding-disputed-payments) to your customers using the Stripe API or directly from the Dashboard. When setting the amount of the refund, adjust the input so it is not a full amount. The steps are the same as a full refund, which can be [followed here](/questions/refund-a-customer).
