Why haven't I received an invite to update my tax information and access my tax forms in Stripe Express?

There are several possible reasons why you may not have received an invite

We understand your concern over not yet receiving an invite you may be expecting. Please make sure to check your spam/junk mail folder in case your Stripe Express invitation landed there.

It’s also possible that your platform does not have your current email address on file. To expedite the process of receiving a Stripe Express invitation, we recommend reaching out to your platform and ensuring you have all potential email addresses readily available. This way, when you request a new invitation for Stripe Express, your platform can promptly send it to you once they have the updated email on file.

Some other reasons why you may not have received an invite yet:

  1. Your platform has chosen to deliver tax forms a different way (e.g., mailing you a physical copy).
  2. You earned less than the threshold for your form type (see ‘Why did I receive a 1099 tax form?’ to learn more).
  3. Your platform has chosen not to file forms for you.
  4. Your email address on file is incorrect, missing, or unable to receive email. Please reach out to your platform to update your email and request a new link.
  5. Your specific account is unsupported on Stripe Express (this can happen in rare situations where multiple users are sharing the same account, or the same email address is being used on more than 20 accounts).
