# If I don't have my Stripe Express account setup, how do I get my 1099 tax form?

If you are eligible to receive a 1099, reach out to your platform to confirm if you'll receive your 1099 tax form via postal mail.
To get your 1099 tax form electronically, you'll need to contact your platform directly to get a valid email address added to your account.
To get you access to the Stripe Express Dashboard:
1. Provide your platform with a valid email address.
1. Your platform will need to add the valid email address to your account and 1099 tax form for this year.
1. Your platform selects **e-delivery** to send the tax form with the invite included.
1. Your platform sends a new link to the email you provided them with.
Once all steps are completed by the platform, Stripe will send an invite to the email address you provided to the platform to set up your Stripe Express dashboard.
