Which documents are accepted for verifying my account in Thailand?

In order to verify the identity of you and your business, Stripe might need to request additional documentation in order to verify and enable your account. These are the documents accepted for verification in Thailand:

If you are a non-Thai national:
• Passport
Thai nationals must provide their legal name in Thai script.

Both Personal Identification Number (เลขประจำตัวประชาชน) and Laser Code (เลเซอร์ ไอดี) at the back of your ID card must be provided.

While it is a common practice to sign (เซ็นรับรอง) a copy of a Thai National ID card, you must upload a Thai National ID card without any signature or annotation. For successful ID verifications, there are several best practices that you should follow.
Company/entity verification • Company Affidavit issued by the DBD (หนังสือรับรองนิติบุคคล) Company Affidavit (หนังสือรับรองนิติบุคคล) must be issued within the last 6 months.

If you do not have a copy of or if your Company Affidavit (หนังสือรับรองนิติบุคคล) was issued more than 6 months ago, you can easily obtain one online via Department of Business Development Ministry of Commerce's (กรมพัฒนาธุรกิจการค้า) website.

Stripe may also be required to collect additional licences for businesses in Thailand from certain industries.
