The tax ID associated to a Stripe account in Brazil (CPF or CNPJ) and the business type (i.e. company, individual) can NOT be changed once details have been verified.
For Individual accounts:
CPF can NOT be changed in the account after this information is verified.
If the representative CPF needs to change, a new Stripe account must be created.
If the business type needs to change to CNPJ (i.e. from individual to company), a new Stripe account must be created.
For company, LTD and other entities associated with CNPJ:
CNPJ can NOT be changed after this information is verified
Representative details can be changed in this case.
If the CNPJ needs to change, a new Stripe account must be created instead.
If the business type needs to change to CPF (i.e. from company to individual), a new Stripe account must be created.
