Platforms can deploy Stripe Terminal readers to their Connect accounts that are based in a different country. Your Connect accounts must have the card_payments capability, and you must either create charges using:
Destination charges with the on_behalf_of parameter set to on the Connect Account. on_behalf_of allows you to settle in the Connect account’s local currency.
Connect accounts will only be able to process card present charges in their local currency. For example, US-based Connect Accounts can only process card_present payments in USD.
