Platforms can deploy Stripe Terminal readers to their connected accounts that are based in a different country. The connected accounts must have the card_payments capability, and the platform must create charges using one of the following:
on_behalf_of parameter set to on the Connect Account. on_behalf_of allows you to settle in the Connect account’s local currency. Connected accounts are only able to process card present charges in their local currency. For example, US-based Connect Accounts can only process card_present payments in USD.
