Stripe showing up instead of business name on American Express bank statement
American Express cardholders may see Stripe instead of the actual name of the business who created the charge on a bank statement for about 48 hours. Once the charge is no longer "pending" and has been fully settled with the bank, the statement will be updated with more detailed information about the business that originally created the charge.
