Stripe showing up instead of business name on American Express bank statement
American Express cardholders may see Stripe instead of the actual name of the business who created the charge on a bank statement for about 48 hours. Once the charge is no longer “pending” and fully settles with the bank, the statement will update with more detailed information about the business who originally created the charge.
