Payout was a different amount than expected
Why your payout amount amount may be different than expected
Check the payout in your Dashboard to see all transactions included in an automatic payout. Some reasons the amount could be different than you were expecting could be:
- Your payout schedule has changed, and thus a different group of transactions are being paid out in accordance to that new schedule.
- Transactions might not be included because they were processed after the 00:00 UTC cutoff for payout creation.
- For accounts located in APAC see Default Start of Day for Asia-Pacific (APAC) Payouts
- Refunds and/or disputes impacted the balance.
- You may have a temporary reserve on your Stripe account. Stripe will proactively communicate the reason for the temporary reserve to the Stripe account holder.
Why the amount received may be different than expected
Your bank may have deducted fees from your payout, such as transfer fees, foreign transaction fees, or overdraft fees. Stripe will not have visibility into any bank fees. Contact your bank if the amount received does not equal the payout amount.
