Navigating ACH Credit Transfers integration breakages with connected accounts

With the shutdown of the legacy Sources API and deprecation of the ACH Credit Transfers payment method, Standard Connect platforms may encounter integration issues with connected accounts that have already migrated to USD Bank Transfers on the Payment Intents and Payment Methods APIs.

If your platform maintains an ACH Credit Transfers integration that depends on the emission of specific sources-based events, be aware that these integrations may break for connected accounts that have proactively migrated.

Once a connected account transitions to USD Bank Transfers, the following webhook events related to ACH Credit Transfers are no longer emitted:

  • source.transaction.created
  • source.chargeable
  • customer.source.created
  • source.refund_attributes_required

We recommend migrating your sources-based platform integration to USD Bank Transfers to ensure a smooth transition and prevent disruptions to your integration. Find detailed instructions in our migration guide.
