If you are not able to verify your documents programmatically, Stripe might need to request additional documentation in order to verify the individuals as well as the businesses connected to a Stripe account.

Please provide Stripe with the additional documents if you are eligible for one of the exceptions listed below.

Proof of address document is issued in your partner's name

You must supply:

• Proof of address documentation in your partner’s name

• Marriage or civil partnership certificate with both your name (as displayed on your Stripe account) and your partner’s name (as displayed on the proof of address documentation)

These documents will need to be merged and uploaded as one file. The file should be uploaded in .pdf format with a size of less than 10Mb.

Proof of address document is issued in your parent/guardian's name

You must supply:

• Proof of address documentation in your parent/guardian’s name

• Birth/legal guardianship certificate with both your name (as displayed on your Stripe account) and your parent/legal guardian’s name (as displayed on the proof of address documentation)

These documents will need to be merged and uploaded as one file. The file should be uploaded in .pdf format with a size of less than 10Mb.

Proof of address document was issued prior to finalizing legal name change

You must supply:

• Proof of address documentation in your previous name prior to the legal name change

• Official name change certification clearly showing your your new name (as displayed on your Stripe account) and your previous name (as displayed on the proof of address documentation)

These documents will need to be merged and uploaded as one file. The file should be uploaded in .pdf format with a size of less than 10Mb.
