• Platforms will not be able to collect cross-border application fees. Example: Platforms in Malaysia, with a connected account outside of Malaysia, will not be permitted to collect application fees on the charges on the non-Malaysian connected account.
• Similarly, platforms outside of Malaysia, with connected accounts in Malaysia, will not be permitted to collect application fees on the charges on the Malaysian connected account.
