Our support team – and Stripe as a whole – is committed to helping you build your business. We look at problems from your vantage point and strive to always work with you to find a solution. We recognise and appreciate that Stripe is often at the core of your business. Payment issues can be stressful and there is often a lot at stake. However, abusive behaviour can make it difficult for our Support team to resolve an issue. Examples of abusive behaviour may include disparaging language, personal attacks, threats of violence to yourself or others, and spamming, among other things.
We want to help you build your business. In order to do so, we need to build ours and ensure that our employees feel safe at work. So, when an individual becomes threatening or abusive to our team, Stripe may need to take action to protect our employees. These actions may include:
Limiting access to Stripe support
Offboarding from Stripe
Reporting to authorities
