With paperless delivery, or electronic delivery, your 1099 tax form is available in Stripe Express as an electronic copy after your platform files your 1099 tax form with the IRS. Choosing paperless delivery allows you to use Stripe Express as a quick and secure way to access and store your 1099 tax forms. Postal mailed 1099 tax forms typically take up to 10 days to arrive after a platform files and delivers them. See Where is my 1099 tax form? for more information on accessing your 1099.

You'll be prompted to opt in to paperless delivery when you first set up your Stripe Express account. You can opt in after you’ve set up your account by selecting the prompt directly within the Tax forms tab in the Stripe Express dashboard.
