Your platform chooses the available delivery methods for your 1099 tax forms.
If you set up a Stripe Express account to access your tax forms and consented to paperless delivery, expect your form to be electronically delivered.
If you didn't agree to paperless delivery and you’re eligible for a 1099, your platform typically sends the form via postal mail to the primary address on file.
If you’re eligible for a 1099 and didn't receive your form, contact your platform.
## How do I change the delivery method for my tax forms?
You might be able to update your 1099 delivery preferences in your [Stripe Express](https://connect.stripe.com/express_login) account. Learn how to update your delivery settings.
If you’re unable to change these settings, ask your platform if they can change your delivery method.
1099 tax forms that have already been filed will be delivered via the delivery method that was in place when they were filed.
## If I consent to paperless delivery of my 1099 tax form, will I still receive a postal copy?
Your platform decides the delivery method for 1099 tax forms. If you agree to paperless delivery, your platform may not send a physical copy by mail.
If you don’t have an option to select both paperless and postal mail delivery when updating your delivery settings, or you’re unable to change these settings, contact your platform.
## If I agreed to paperless delivery for one platform, do I need to agree for my other platforms?
Yes, you have to select a delivery preference for each platform you work with. Your delivery preferences are not carried across your different platforms.
