What do I do if I've lost access to my two-step verification codes or recovery code?
If you’ve enabled two-step verification for your Stripe account and have lost access to your authenticator app (this often happens if you replace your phone) or your phone number has changed, you have a few options.
If you have your recovery code, click on Disable verification, then enter the backup code in the Emergency code field. The emergency recovery code was first shown to you when you set up 2-step authentication or when you regenerated a new one.
If you do not have your recovery code, let us know and we can help you access your account.
If you have only lost your recovery code, you can generate a new one from your profile settings by clicking 2-step authentication settings. The recovery code should be written down and stored in a safe place.
