How can my users disconnect or submit a request for data to be deleted from their linked financial accounts?

Generally, your customers may request to either 1) disconnect their account, 2) delete their data or 3) both. You have the option to use either the Disconnections API or our form to process a disconnection request. You must process deletion requests by deleting the relevant data from your databases and notifying us at privacy@stripe.com with the subject line, "Financial Connections: Request for account deletion". Alternatively, you can ask your customer to submit their request directly to Stripe through our form.

Once the form has been submitted, we will disconnect the user's linked financial account from your business once their identity has been verified. Please see our Merchant guidelines for more details about your responsibilities related to disconnection and data deletion requests.
