Complete the data migration request form to share the details of the data import you have in mind. Please note: you must be logged into your Stripe account to access the form.
Depending on where your data is stored, the data can be shared in different ways:
-
Your current processor may upload your data to their own server for Stripe to retrieve.
In this case, their server credentials will need to be shared with your Stripe data migration specialist, so Stripe can access your data for the import.
-
More commonly, the processor will upload the data to Stripe’s SFTP server.
In this case, Stripe will share secured credentials to our server, which can then be passed on to the other processor’s migration team.
-
If you are currently storing your own data, and want to import it to Stripe, we will set you up with Stripe SFTP server access, so you can upload your own data.
In this case, we will require either your PGP key or a preferred mobile phone number. This will allow us to share details with you on server access without emailing the password to you.
In any of these scenarios, Stripe will contact your team via email after we’ve received your migration request form, to assist with next steps on the secure transfer of your data for import into your Stripe account.
