You can add funds for Connect payouts or to your account balance through the Balances page in your Dashboard. Funds added to the Account balance goes into a separate portion of your balance named "Future refunds or disputes," and funds added to the Connect payouts will add funds into your regular account balance.
Funds added to the Account balance are set aside in a separate portion of your balance named “Future refunds or disputes”. The “Future refunds or disputes” portion of your balance will only be used for refunds. disputes, or for paying back a negative balance. This allows you to stay on automatic payouts for balances accrued from charges, while maintaining additional funds to account for future refunds and disputes and prevent a negative balance.
If you wish to retrieve the funds from the “Future refunds or disputes” portion of your balance, you can do so by going to the Balances page in the Dashboard and then selecting Pay out to bank.
When adding funds in the dashboard, select Connect payouts to add funds into your regular account balance. Funds added in this way will be available for transfer to your connected accounts.
