If your Stripe account is linked to one or more offshore bank accounts, you may not be eligible to set up Alternative Currency Payouts, which allow you to easily settle and pay out in multiple currencies.

Offshore bank accounts are accounts which are located in a different country to your Stripe account. While your current offshore bank accounts only allow you to receive application fees collected offshore, an Alternative Currency bank account will provide you with the option to get your funds paid out in a variety of currencies in bank accounts located locally.

If you are interested in using Alternative Currency Payouts, you’ll need to follow these steps:

1. Remove your current offshore bank accounts in your Dashboard.
2. Log in to your Stripe account here and let us know that you’re interested in using Alternative Currency Payouts. We will enable them as soon as we receive your request.
