# How disputes work for Terminal

Stripe Terminal is EMV-enabled to help protect against fraudulent and counterfeit card payments. This article explains how disputes work, what the EMV liability shift covers, and what you're still responsible for.
## What does the EMV liability shift cover?
All Terminal readers are chip-capable. This means the bank is generally liable for [fraudulent-type disputes](https://stripe.com/docs/disputes/categories#fraudulent) instead of you. Certain network exceptions may apply.
## What am I still responsible for?
The EMV liability shift only applies to fraudulent-type disputes. You're still liable for other [dispute types](https://stripe.com/docs/disputes/categories).
## Can I use Radar with Terminal?
Radar isn't available for Terminal. See Stripe Terminal compatibility with Stripe Radar.
