I received a Sources API error: How should I handle it?

If you have an existing Stripe integration with the Sources API and have started receiving errors, please check the email address associated with your Stripe account – we have been contacting all users with information regarding their migration deadline! You may be able to automatically re-enable your access to the API for a limited period of time by requesting an extension on your migration deadline.

If you’re integrating with Stripe for the first time, this integration path has reached end-of-life (EOL) and no longer supports new integrations. You should follow the instructions in our docs to integrate with our newer APIs. If you hit this error after downloading a third-party payments plugin, ensure that you have downloaded the latest version of the plugin (follow the link to instructions for common third-party integrations). If you already have done this, you should contact the plugin owner or third-party developer to request that they update their integration. Please also let Stripe know by contacting us here.

If you’re integrated with Stripe via Woo Commerce, you should enable Woo’s latest checkout experience in the Stripe WooCommerce Extension advanced settings.

If you have an existing Stripe integration with the Sources API and use a different Stripe account to run an automated test suite that has now started receiving errors, please contact us here.
