Below is a list of third-party integrations (also known as plugins) commonly used to accept non-card payments via Stripe, as well as the steps you should take to ensure you can continue to accept non-card payment types after the Sources API to Payment Intents API migration deadline (Read more about the migration on Stripe support page):
Shopware
Support by Shopware Gmbh for the Shopware 5 platform will end in July 2024. If you are using Shopware 5 to accept non-card payments, we recommend following the migration guide to migrate your Shopware instance to version 6 App infrastructure where you can then use the latest Stripe App connector for all your payment processing needs.
If you no longer want to accept non-card payment methods and choose to remain on Shopware 5, please upgrade to the latest version of the connector (5.5.5 or greater), which removes all non-card payment methods. This will ensure that non-card payment methods are not presented to your customers, and will ensure that your integration will not break when the Sources API is shut down.
If you are using Shopware 6 with our plugin integration, please upgrade to Showpare 6.5+ and the latest version of our connector (1.14+), or migrate to the Shopware App.
If you are using Shopware 6 with our app integration, you are already all set.
