# What is a payout?

### To receive funds, your platform makes “payouts” to transfer funds from your account balance to your bank account or debit card through Stripe.
You can view a list of all of your payouts and the date that they are expected to be received in your account in the Balance tab of your Stripe Express Dashboard. Select **Payouts** in the Transactions section.
To see payouts for a different Platform, use the Platform toggle drop down in the top left corner.
