# Pay with Direct Deposit via QR Code

Direct deposit allows you to complete a stablecoin payment by sending stablecoins directly to a deposit address. This is especially valuable when you don't see your wallet provider listed or if you're using a centralized exchange or custodial wallet.

## How do I pay with direct deposit via QR Code?
1. When completing a payment with crypto, select the **Direct Deposit via QR code** option.
1. Select your desired currency and network, then a QR code will appear.
   * Double check that you have selected the correct **token** and **network**. Funds sent to the wrong network **can't be recovered**.
   * **For refunds only**: We'll default to the original wallet address. If you want to set a different refund wallet address, set that wallet address at this step. This is important for payments made from a custodial or centralized exchange account as your refund may be lost.
   * **Refunds are more challenging to process when using a centralized exchange account**. We recommend setting a self-custodial wallet address as your refund wallet address before making your payment.
1. Scan the QR code to obtain the deposit address or copy the wallet address to your clipboard.
1. Open your wallet of choice and choose to send funds. Carefully fill out the required information, including transaction amount, currency, and network.
   * Double check that you're sending the exact amount of the transaction.
1. Submit the transaction in your wallet.
1. After a few minutes, the checkout page will indicate a successful transaction.
## What if I overpaid or underpaid for the transaction?
* **Overpayments**: An automatic refund will be issued to your payment wallet for the amount of the overpayment.
* **Underpayments**: An automatic refund will be issued to your payment wallet for the total amount sent. You'll need to complete the payment again for the correct amount.
## Omnibus refunds
Refunds to omnibus wallets are currently only issued manually. If you are expecting a refund due to overpayment, underpayment or because the business has issued you a refund, please contact us with your refund wallet address.
