You can link your financial account instantly through Stripe’s authentication flow. The authentication flow consists of four main steps:

1. Agree to the terms and conditions.
2. Select your financial institution.
3. Enter your financial institution login credentials.
4. Select the financial account(s) you want to link to your merchant and Stripe.

Using this authentication flow lets you connect your financial account without leaving the merchant’s site.

Can I change the bank account that's linked?

Your merchant may allow you to reopen the authentication flow and link a new account.To change the bank account without linking a new account, contact your merchant directly. Your merchant can disconnect your existing account(s) and/or help you add a new account.
