# Deprecation of legacy ACH Direct Debits

Stripe is disabling the ability for users to accept ACH Direct Debit via legacy integrations and requiring that our users migrate to the [Payment Intents API](https://docs.stripe.com/payments/payment-intents) or the [Checkout Sessions API](https://docs.stripe.com/payments/payment-element/migration-ewcs) instead.
