Why has my payout account been changed? What are Trava Domiciliar and payout account changes?

(This information is only valid for Stripe accounts in Brazil)

When a company takes a loan in Brazil, they have the option of offering card receivables as a guarantee.

Once the agreement is set between the merchant and the chosen bank/financial institution, the bank notifies a registration system: a regulated entity who collects that information and notifies the payment processors about this.

Stripe will only settle these receivables into the payout account that is specified by such financial institutions (also known as Trava Domiciliar). As a result, we may have to update your payout account accordingly.

Discounts made on your payouts might be related to active Trava contracts. Trava discounts will be described as Anticipations Repayments in the section Payments>All transactions in the dashboard:

Please be reminded that you may not change the payout account of these receivables until the credit transaction is fully settled with your financial institution of choice. If you don't recognise a Trava discount, please reach out to our support team.
