# Why does my invoice cover more than a full calendar month?

Stripe made a one-time change to when product-usage fees appear on monthly tax invoices. This aligns Stripe’s invoicing data with its tax filing requirements.
This adjustment affects the following invoices:

### What changed
Previously, Stripe included fees on your invoice when it deducted them from your Stripe balance. This could occur after you used the product.
Stripe now includes fees based on when you used the product. This better aligns your invoice with the period when the usage occurred.
As a result, some fees might appear on a different invoice than they did previously.
### Your invoice
Your transition invoice might cover a period longer than one calendar month. Fees outside that period appear on a later invoice.
You don’t need to take any action. This was a one-time change, and your next invoice follows the standard full-calendar-month cycle.
Some invoice line descriptions might not include transaction volumes. Use the [All Fees Report](https://dashboard.stripe.com/reports/all-fees) for a detailed breakdown of your fees.
### What hasn't changed
This change affects when a fee appears on your invoice, not the amount you owe. Your Stripe product pricing and tax rates remain the same.
