Each quarter, Stripe notifies platforms if they have inactive connected accounts with unclaimed balances and provides them an inactive account report. As part of this process, we may notify you that a new inactive account report is available to download and review. There are many reasons for this, including:
- your corrections request to your inactive account report was approved
- the connected account’s filing state changed
- the connected account’s last activity date or type changed
- the inactive account's unclaimed balance status changed
To access the latest inactive accounts report from the Dashboard, go to the Settings page, navigate to the Compliance and documents section, click the Unclaimed Balances tab, and then click Download latest report.
If you have reviewed the inactive account list and agree with the information in the report, there is no further action needed from your side. However, if you don't agree with the information in the report, you can contact us to request any corrections.
