To understand additional details about how Stripe fees are assessed on refunded payments and international payments, follow the steps below in your Stripe Dashboard.
While on a desktop or laptop computer, navigate to the "Reports" section of the Stripe Dashboard and ensure that "Balance" is selected directly underneath the Search bar. On this page, you're able to see which fees Stripe has previously returned to you for all refunded charges. This amount is displayed as "Fees returned" within the "Balance change from activity" module. Please note that this amount reflects fees returned during the time period selected near the top of the page.
In the "Reports" section of the Dashboard, please click on "Download" at the top right-hand side of the "Balance change from activity" module. Export your balance activity to a CSV file and ensure that "Card country" is selected as a column. Any non-domestic cards processed for your business will be assessed using an international card fee (included with standard processing fees within the "Fee" column).
