Unauthorized login attempt
I was notified that there was a login attempt on my Stripe account, and it wasn’t me or anyone on my team. What should I do?
If there has been an unauthorized attempt to log in to your Stripe account, it could be that your login credentials have been compromised and a malicious third party is attempting to gain access to your Stripe dashboard.
If this is the case, we recommend taking the following actions as soon as possible:
- Update the email address and password on your Stripe account, as well as any other online accounts that use the same login details.
- Enable two-step verification on your Stripe account for added security. This will require a confirmation code to be entered from a verified mobile device for any unrecognized login sources.
