Unauthorized login attempt

If there has been an unauthorized attempt to log in to your Stripe account, it’s likely that your login credentials have been compromised and a third party is attempting to gain access to your Stripe dashboard.

We recommend updating your login details (email and password) in Stripe, as well as any other online account with which you might share the same credentials. You can update your Stripe password here, and once you’re logged in, you can change your email address from your Dashboard.

Updating your Stripe login email will effectively end the attack, as the third party will no longer know which email is associated with your account.

Additionally, we strongly suggest enabling two-step verification on the account, which will add an extra level of security and prevent any third party from accessing your Dashboard without a confirmation code from a verified mobile device.
