# UK instructions to check whether Direct Debit Instructions (DDI) are active

See your Direct Debit Instructions (DDI) under [Payouts](https://dashboard.stripe.com/account/payouts) settings in the Dashboard.
Click **Direct debit details** next to your bank account details.
If you see the **Direct debit guarantee** details, then the instructions are active and your account can be automatically debited to remedy a negative balance.
### Don't see the the DDI Instructions?
It can take up to 3 days for the DDI instructions to show up on a newly added bank account.
### Bank account requires multiple signatures to be auto-debited?
If your business has a bank account that requires two or more signatories to allow the account to be debited and you are in the United Kingdom (UK), [contact Stripe Support](/email) for a paper Direct Debit Instruction form to sign and return.
