Troubleshooting login CAPTCHA issues

If you’re experiencing CAPTCHA errors when trying to login to your account on the Stripe Dashboard, please try the following:

  • Disable any VPNs or browser extensions (e.g. adblockers, privacy tools) that may be blocking hCaptcha from loading in your browser.
  • Try logging in with a private browsing session, a different browser, or on a different device.
  • Ensure your network configuration is not blocking hcaptcha.com or any subdomains (*.hcaptcha.com).
    • If you’re behind a corporate firewall, please contact your IT administrator to allow access to these domains.
    • To verify access to these domains, check if you can load and complete the hCaptcha demo. A checkbox with the words “I am human” should be visible. Click the checkbox and submit the form after completing the CAPTCHA challenge.
  • If you have tried all of the above and are still unable to login, we may ask you to capture your web session traffic and provide the HAR file for us to review. Please see this page for more information on capturing web session traffic.
    • When capturing the HAR file, please refresh the page after opening developer tools and attempt to login after filling in the email and password fieldsFor your safety, please enter a random string into the password field instead of your real password, since the resulting HAR file contains the password in plaintext.
