# Troubleshoot missing payment methods

Customers using dynamic payment methods may not see certain payment methods due to their country, currency, transaction amount, or payment flow.
Use the Dashboard **payment method troubleshooting tool** to investigate why a specific payment method is missing for a customer. The tool helps troubleshoot missing payment methods by showing which methods are available or hidden to customers in different scenarios.
### Use the troubleshooting tool
* [Open the tool](https://dashboard.stripe.com/test/settings/payment_methods/review) on the Stripe Dashboard.
* If you have multiple payment method configurations, select the relevant configuration.
To troubleshoot different payment scenarios:
* Click **Order amount and currency.**
* Enter relevant scenario information.
* Click **Review**.
To troubleshoot a specific transaction:
* Click **Transaction ID**.
* Enter the PaymentIntent ID or Checkout Session ID.
* Click **Go**.
The tool displays which payment methods are available or hidden to the customer in the selected payment scenario or transaction. It also provides reasons why certain payment methods are hidden.
