# Treasury: Cardholder information

### Can I update a cardholder name in the Dashboard?
No. If you made a mistake creating a cardholder, you need to deactivate it and create a new one.
Only administrators have permission to create cardholders. A cardholder can only be created during the process of creating a card.
In the Dashboard, navigate to the Treasury section.
* Click on **Create a Card**
* Select **Add a new Cardholder**
* Fill in the required info
* Read and accept **The cardholder has agreed to the Celtic Bank Authorized User terms and E-sign policy**
* Click **Continue**
### What is the card nickname for?
The nickname is only used to identify the cardholder in the Dashboard.
### Do I need to provide a government ID for Cardholders?
No. However, if you have any issues with the cardholder's name we recommend you submit identification.
### Will submitting a new government ID “pause” my cards?
Submitting your ID won’t pause your cards.
