For Stripe account holders in Norway, value-added tax (VAT) applies to Stripe fees at the prevailing standard rate, charged to consumers and nonprofit organisations that do not provide Stripe with a Norwegian organisation number (“Organisasjonsnummer”).

The VAT charge is applied in addition to Stripe’s product and service fees. All Terminal hardware sales with a ship-to location in Norway will be subject to Norwegian VAT at the prevailing standard rate also.

You will be provided with a monthly tax invoice for the VAT that is charged on your Stripe fees. You can learn more about tax invoices here.
