# Subscribing to Stripe status updates

We publish notifications whenever we create, update, or resolve an incident on our [status site](http://www.stripestatus.com). On July 18th 2023, we’re launching an updated Status site which enables subscriptions on more communication channels.
### To subscribe to email notifications:
1. Visit [https://status.stripe.com](https://status.stripe.com/) 
1. Tap **Subscribe to updates**.
1. Click the email icon.
1. Enter in the email address you’d like to receive notifications to.
1. Click **Subscribe via email**.
1. Select the notifications to specific product areas you’re interested in. The default is all. Click **Save selection** to update your subscription preferences.
1. You will receive a confirmation email. Confirm your email address by clicking **Confirm your subscription** in the email you receive.
To unsubscribe, repeat steps 1-2 or follow the **Manage your subscription** link in any incident email. On the notification selection page, deselect all product categories, and click **Save selection** and you’ll receive an email confirming you’ve unsubscribed.
### To subscribe to SMS notifications:
Message and data rates may apply.
1. Visit [https://status.stripe.com](https://status.stripe.com/) 
1. Tap **Subscribe to updates**.
1. Click the SMS icon.
1. Enter in the phone number you wish to receive notifications to.
1. Click **Subscribe via text message**.
1. Select the notifications to specific product areas you’re interested in. The default is all. Click **Save selection** to update your subscription preferences.
1. You will receive a confirmation SMS message. Reply with **YES** to confirm.
To unsubscribe, text **STOP** at any time.
### To subscribe to Slack notifications:
Permission to install a new app on your Slack Workspace is required.
1. Visit [https://status.stripe.com](https://status.stripe.com/) 
1. Tap **Subscribe to updates**.
1. Click the Slack icon.
1. Click **Subscribe via Slack**.
1. In the pulldown bar under **Where should Statuspage post?** select the channel for notifications to be posted to.
1. Click **Allow**.
1. Select the notifications to specific product areas you’re interested in. The default is all. Click **Save selection** to update your subscription preferences.
1. In Slack, go to the channel you selected and you’ll see that the Statuspage app was added.
1. Invite **@Statuspage** to this Slack channel and you’ll begin to receive notifications.
To unsubscribe, remove the Statuspage app from your Slack Workspace or from the specific Slack channel.
### To subscribe to RSS/Atom feed notifications
1. In your feed reader, find and select the option to add a new feed.
1. Paste in “[https://www.stripestatus.com/history.rss](https://www.stripestatus.com/history.rss)” for RSS or “[https://www.stripestatus.com/history.atom](https://www.stripestatus.com/history.atom)” for Atom.
