There is an exemption for charges less than €30. Stripe will automatically apply this exemption when possible.

However, if the exemption has been used 5 times since the last successful authentication, or the sum of the exempted transactions exceeds €100, authentication will most likely be required again. Exemptions are approved by and authorization requests are issued by the cardholder's bank, so these thresholds might vary.
