For Stripe account holders in Malaysia, effective September 1, 2022, Stripe Payments Malaysia Sdn Bhd no longer charges service tax on processing fees to Malaysian account holders.

Service tax will continue to apply to Stripe fees for non processing–related products and services (such as Connect and Radar) at the prevailing rate. The service tax charge is applied in addition to Stripe’s product and service fees.

You will be provided with a monthly tax invoice for the service tax that is charged on your Stripe fees. You can learn more about tax invoices here.
