Stripe Dashboard Mobile App on iPhone and Android

Stripe offers a mobile application to access the Dashboard for both iOS and Android devices. Use the app to view business metrics, track and manage payments and customers, and initiate payouts. You can also accept in-person payments (such as Tap to Pay), generate invoices, and create payment links and subscriptions. Learn more about the app and its capabilities here.

The Stripe Dashboard mobile app is available in 14 languages, as set by your device language via system preferences. The app is available for accounts that access the Stripe Dashboard, but excludes accounts with access to the Express Dashboard or accounts that do not have access to a Stripe Dashboard.

Stripe Dashboard mobile app features

Mobile app users enables you to:

  • Track metrics and payments, including via Dashboard charts and iOS and Android widgets 
  • View balances, create payouts, and track the status of bank transfers 
  • Create, manage, and accept online or in-person payments with payment links, contactless payments (Tap to Pay), manual card entry, invoices, and subscriptions. See the table below for payment capabilities available by operating system.
  • Manage payments, such as issuing refunds or canceling a subscription
  • View, create, and edit customers, including adding a card on file and emailing a customer
  • Search across your business for specific payments or customers
  • Get notified of new payments or issues via push notifications, such as a daily summary or dispute alerts
  • Quickly swap between your business accounts

Additional information

  • You will need to create a Stripe account before you can use the app. To register, visit Stripe.com from a web browser.
  • The app is not currently optimized for use on iPad or Mac computers, but you can still use the iPhone app on an iPad or an M1 Mac computer. Note: Some features, such as Tap to Pay, will not be available on iPad or Mac.

Troubleshooting

Feature access

  • Confirm you have the right permissions to use capabilities in the app. Stripe users with the role "View only" are not able to create payments, refunds, and payouts in the mobile app. Read more about roles in this article.
  • Confirm that you meet the requirements and supported countries for payment acceptance features such as Tap to Pay. Several payment acceptance capabilities also require that you have 2FA enabled for your Stripe account and your phone number verified.

Notification delivery

  • Push notifications will only work if you also allow notifications for Stripe in the general Settings of your Phone (Settings > Notifications). Read more about modifying your notification permissions for your operating system: iOS, Android.

Other considerations

  • The mobile app can only be used by users with access to the Stripe Dashboard
  • Mobile app users cannot use test mode or view test data. Only live mode transactions will be shown in the app.
