# "Stay signed in" checkbox on the sign-in page

The "Stay signed in" checkbox on the sign-in page allows you to extend your session time in the Stripe Dashboard. This means you will be asked for your password less frequently. 
### **Additional Information**
* When you sign in to your Stripe Dashboard, the checkbox will be checked by default.
* The ‘Stay signed in’ checkbox is also an option during reauthentication.
