# Reset a forgotten Stripe password

### Stripe Dashboard users
Visit the [password reset form](https://dashboard.stripe.com/reset) or click **Forgot your password?** on the Stripe [login screen](https://dashboard.stripe.com/login).
### Express dashboard users
* Express Stripe accounts don’t have passwords, and instead rely on a 6-digit phone verification code to log in.
* If you’ve lost or updated your phone number, refer to further troubleshooting steps
### Custom dashboard users
* This means your business is connected to a platform that uses Stripe to process payments, but that platform fully controls your account and dashboard experience.
* Use that platform to access your account dashboard.
