# Require two-step authentication for your team

Stripe offers the option to require two-step authentication for every user on a team.
1. From the [Team settings page](https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/team), click **Two-step authentication**. This page is only accessible to team administrators.
1. Turn on **Require two-step authentication for your team**. two-step authentication toggled on
1. The requirement is now in effect. Every user without two-step authentication enabled will be required to set it up the next time they sign in, and every new user you invite will be required to set it up before they can join your team.
To remove this requirement, turn off **Require two-step authentication for your team**.
