# Reports for revenue shares

[Revenue shares](https://stripe.com/resources/more/what-is-a-revenue-share-what-businesses-need-to-know) are recorded in three different sections of the Dashboard:
- [Balance summary report](https://docs.stripe.com/reports/balance) and [Payout reconciliation report](https://docs.stripe.com/reports/payout-reconciliation)
- [All activity](https://dashboard.stripe.com/balance/all-activity) tab on the Balance page (filter **Type** by **Revenue Share**)
- [Compliance and documents](https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/documents) section, where you can download the **Revenue share report**
We recommend the revenue share report to get a detailed breakdown of your revenue share transactions. Users with [analyst or administrator permissions](https://docs.stripe.com/get-started/account/teams/roles) can access this report.
## Revenue share transaction logging
Effective February 25th, 2026, newly created revenue share [balance transactions](https://docs.stripe.com/reports/balance-transaction-types) will be logged as **Revenue share**. Prior to this, transactions since October 2022 were categorized as **Stripe fee**, and before October 2022, they were recorded as **Adjustments**.
Effective February 25, 2026, the [reporting_category](https://docs.stripe.com/reports/reporting-categories#consolidate-multiple-types-into-common-categories) for revenue share will change from `fee` to `revenue_share`.
